Obtained her PhD at the University of Konstanz in Germany. She is a clinical psychologist specialized in Psychotraumatology and Cognitive- Behavioral Psychotherapy. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher within The Knowledge Based Society Project (POSDRU ID 56815) and a scientific researcher of the University of Ulm and Center for Psychiatry Südwürttemberg, Germany. She has extensive experience in the epidemiological and psychotherapy research, which has resulted in high-ranking international publications. Her main research area includes studies on traumatic antecedents of psychiatric patients, investigations of consequences of organized violence, and clinical trials. Other topics of her research have been the psychophysiological investigation of traumatized persons and health services studies. As a psychological psychotherapist, her professional experience includes clinical practice and treatment of mental disorders in the fields of psychiatry, psychosomatics, and psychotherapy.
