The studies included in the volume Experience & Explanation in Knowledge Society represent a selection of communications presented at the International Conference Experience & Explication in Knowledge Society, Baia Mare, 2013. The chapters combine significant researches in the areas of logic and communication, ethics, cultural history and religion. Experience and Explanation, fundamental terms for the Knowledge Society, highlight and outline the human manifestations in a multitude of levels through their semantic field. For some philosophers Experience refers only to the way the subject comes into being, leaving out of their objective existence, to the outside world. Another meaning of the term Experience concerns the everyday aspect of human relationships or with public reality in general. If the first meaning refers to religious experiences, to address moral challenges, the experience, in the public sense of the term, refers to ways to research and verify the phenomena of socio-historical practice, economic one and so on. The Explanation, as a scientific method of knowledge supported by the logical empiricism, takes into account the precise definition a concept receives for the purpose of its formal use. Another meaning of the term refers to the analysis and understanding of the phenomena. Within the limits of these meanings, the researches in the areas mentioned above provides consistent contributions that complement, or clarify previous developments.
