Ovidiu Dumitru Solonar, PhD is a teacher of English at the High School of Economics and Administration in Iasi, as well as a translator specializing in English and French. He has translated books by George Steiner and David Eagleman for Humanitas Publishing House and The Culture Of Narcissism by Christopher Lasch for Alexandria Publishing House. He taught English at „Al. I. Cuza” University of Iasi and the Romanian-American University of Bucharest, participating in many workshops, conferences and training courses in Romania and abroad. Ovidiu D. Solonar holds a doctoral degree in philology from the University of Bucharest, focusing on literature and pop culture. He also has postgraduate certificates and degrees from the University of East Anglia, UK, as well as other higher education institutions, and he published articles in several academic journals.
